Two months in summary

I’m back !!!!!

I swear I didn't abandon the blog. I got a bit caught up with life. I had to help plan a wedding, then had a bit of accommodation panic … then business panic … then school panic… then alumni start up panic (long story).  What I am trying to say is I have been super busy. It has been the longest four months ever but that is no excuse. My apologies.

It’s just February but you’d think it is July with all that has happened this year.

The horse meat scandal in Europe....

Eeeekkk
It all started when horse DNA was found in food giant, Tescos' burgers and it went down hill from there. For the story you can go here, here, here and here or just google.
.
The Pope’s resignation....

Pope Benedict XVI

Beyonce Drama....
Lip-synching at president Obama inauguration in Washington DC.

Yep! I  did it, so what?
Beyonce admitted that she did "lip sync" the national anthem on US Inauguration Day, singing live along with a pre-recorded tape instead of the US Marine band.

Release of  baby photo.
Cutie
The picture marks the first time the singer’s fans have gotten to see Blue Ivy’s face since Beyoncé released photos last year taken right after she was born.

Meteor in Russia....

An asteroid entered Earth's atmosphere over Russia on February 15, 2013 and became a brilliant meteor. It passed over the southern Ural region and exploded as a fireball over Chelyabinsk Oblast. Approximately 1,500 people were reported injured, mainly by glass from windows shattered by the shock wave.

Kim Kardashian Drama....
Kimye's pregnancy announcement.

Kim Kardashian's visit to Nigeria.

Darey Art Alade , Kim Kardashian
The mother-to-be was billed to 'co-host' the Love Like A Movie event with Nigerian R'n'B crooner Darey Art-Alade. According to reports, she spent less than 24 hours in Nigeria, stayed at the event for 45 mins, made a 40 seconds speech on the microphone and made $200,000. Wow.

Really sad News,Goldie’s sudden death....
RIP Goldie
The sudden death of Goldie came as a surprise to many people. She was said to have developed severe headache at home in Nigeria after a long flight and was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Goldie, real name Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey, was a Nigerian pop singer and Big Brother Africa Stargame housemate.

Last and definitely  not least, Nigeria’s Super Eagles Crowned African Champions...

Sunday Mba

Nigerian reclaims the African Cup of Nations title after 19 years with a 1 - 0 win against Burkina Faso at the National Stadium in Johannesburg, on Sunday, February 10, 2013. The lone goal was scored by Sunday Mba in the 40th minute of the march.

We are the champions

I will try to get back into the groove of blogging. I am here to stay. Love ya.
